I was going through some of my pictures and backing them up and stuff, when I found these. They are from last September when Kim went to Logan. She is moving back in a few weeks. This was actually the last "vacation," if I can really call it that, that Brian and I had. If I werren't pregnant, I'd tell him we needed to go somewhere soon. It is nice to get away and do something fun, but right now, I don't know if I really feel like going anywhere.

I have already forgotten the original reason I wanted to post something today, so I guess it wasn't that important. My sisters and I planned my baby shower yesterday and I am pretty excited about that. After the baby is born, My sister in law is going to take some generational photos for us. Brian still has his Great grandparents alive and its not often you get to see 5 generations and I think that would be something really special for Spencer to have one day. I think I may ask my sis in law to take some pictures of him at the hospital for me too. I want to start my kid's photo album with some nice pictures.

In fact, I need to start taking pictures of my belly now that i'm finally starting to show. I don't really want them done, but I think that I will be sad someday to not have them. I've got so many things on my to do list before the baby comes. I don't think I'll get around to it all. I'm going to be so busy this summer...we have my baby shower, Becca's wedding, 2 other baby showers, Mother's day and Father's day, July 4 and a billion family birthdays...oi.

This is the set we got. Everything matches it. I think it's adorable. I was going to get little elephants, but they were on clearance and by the time we had the money, they were gone.

Lazy Days

I have been feeling so lazy lately. I just don't feel like getting anything done, but i have to. I'm going to try to get our room moved around so we can fit Spencer's crib and stuff in there with us. I still need to by some crin bedding, but its so wicked expensive, I'm wondering of it would be cheaper to make my own? It costs almost as much for a baby bedding set as a king size bedding set. Ridiculous! I am 26 weeks on Thursday, and I can feel the little guy moving all the time. sometimes it drives me crazy; I feel like he's punching my stomach and my bladder simultaneously, but i sure do like to feel him moving around. I can't believe I am almost into my third trimester. It has gone by so fast. I have bought his stroller and car seat, as well as a bouncer and a playpen. His "theme" is monkeys. I've bought him some clothes too, but I am not sure how much more to buy because I am not sure what I will be getting for my showers. I suppose you can never have too much baby stuff. I would like to buy him a swing, but they are really expensive, too. Babies R Us wanted almost $2oo for the one that matched the set we bought. What I really should be buying is diapers and wipes and stuff to stock up. one of these days, if I un-lazy myself and figure out how to use the scanner, I will put up my ultrasound pictures.
